THE FLORAL TABLE CENTER

18kt Gold · Sterling Silver · Hand-Carved Quartz · Aged Thai Teak · 24kt Gold Leaf
A singular architectural commission realized for a super-high-end residential project. Measuring nearly 1 meter in length, this centerpiece marries a centuries-old aged Thai teak root with a kaleidoscope of precious metal flora. Every element, from the yellow sapphire-set dragonflies to the checkerboard 24kt gold-leaf bowl, was value-engineered and prototyped in our Bangkok Laboratory to ensure archival-grade fidelity.

01
ORGANIC ASSET SELECTION
A single piece of aged Thai teak wood—a root hundreds of years old—serves as the structural foundation. The removable bowl is finished in high-gloss black piano lacquer, contrasting the raw, ancient substrate.
02
DIGITAL & WAX SCULPTING
Butterflies and dragonflies were individually sculpted by hand to create precise recesses for enameling and gemstone setting. Hand-carved quartz lilies were prototyped in wax to ensure a perfect mechanical fit against the organic teak base.
03
PRECIOUS METAL REALIZATION
Sterling silver leaves were specially treated with fire and acids to create a kaleidoscopic patina. The dragonflies feature graduated yellow sapphire pavé backs, secured with black rhodium-plated prongs for maximum visual depth.
04
GOLDSMITHING & SILVERSMITHING
Direct fabrication of silver and 18kt gold elements, followed by hand-polishing and structural reinforcement. The "Assemblage" requires absolute precision to bond geological quartz with precious metal alloys.
05
ARCHIVAL FINISHING
The bowl’s interior features a fully lined 24kt gold leaf finish, applied in a traditional Thai checkerboard pattern. This manual application ensures a surface that reacts dynamically to ambient light in a residential setting.
06
LAPIDARY & GEMSETTING
Specially cut quartz flowers and hand-selected yellow sapphires were matched and set by our master setters. Every stone is calibrated to fit the hand-sculpted silver mounts with minute tolerances.
07
ENAMELING & PLATING
Custom color development through precision electroplating and hand-applied enamel work. Silver plating and 18kt gold accents were used strategically to create tonal variation across the floral landscape.

LEGEND SCORPION ARM CUFF

18kt Gold · Graduated Blue Sapphire · Diamond Pavé · Fully Hand-Sculpted
A singular wearable sculpture. An arm cuff formed entirely in the shape of a scorpion, cast in solid 18kt gold and covered surface-to-surface in thousands of individually hand-set graduated blue sapphires and diamonds. No CAD. No shortcuts. Every curve, every claw, every articulated joint — hand-sculpted from first mark to final setting.

18kt Gold Cast
Custom Stone Hinge Fabrication
Goldsmithing & Surface Refinement
Pavé Setting — Blue Sapphire & Diamond
01
HAND SCULPTING
The entire form — body, legs, claws, tail — sculpted entirely by hand in wax. No CAD input. Pure artisanal translation of concept to three-dimensional form.
02
SILICONE MOULD CREATION
A precision silicone mould captured from the hand-sculpted master, preserving every surface nuance and organic detail of the original form.
03
CASTING IN 18KT GOLD
Lost-wax casting in solid 18kt gold. The resulting cast retains the full complexity of the hand-sculpted original at metal weight and density.
04
CUSTOM STONE HINGES
Bespoke articulated hinge mechanisms fabricated by hand to allow the cuff to open, close and conform to the wrist — engineered for wearability without compromising form.
05
GOLDSMITHING & REFINEMENT
Extensive surface finishing, structural reinforcement and preparation of every facet for stone setting — thousands of individual seats prepared by hand.
06
STONE SOURCING & SELECTION
Graduated blue sapphires and diamonds individually sourced, matched for tone, saturation and cut across the full surface of the piece.
07
PAVÉ SETTING
Thousands of individual stones hand-set across the entire surface of the cuff — each stone secured, aligned and polished by a master stone setter.
Fewer steps. Infinite complexity.
— Legend Scorpion Arm Cuff, Prologue Commission

THE BRIEF

Client: Prologue (B2C luxury brand). Commission: A fully custom, one-of-a-kind arm cuff with no precedent design. Realization goal: A wearable sculpture of absolute complexity — hand-formed, precious-metal cast, and entirely pavé-set in graduated blue sapphire and diamond.

WHAT MAKES IT SINGULAR

No CAD was used at any stage of this commission. The piece exists as a direct translation from concept to hand-sculpted form to cast metal — a process that demands absolute mastery at every node. The stone setting alone required thousands of individual placements, each reviewed against the graduated colour specification.
